"In her bed, with little clothing and smoking": Colombian judge in the midst of virtual judicial proceedings, there is outrage

This is Vivian Polanía, who became popular for posting “hot” photos on social networks. Many point to her and ask: “Is it while sleeping that she makes decisions about the lives of others?”

Colombian News.

A rather unfortunate episode that has ended in controversy was recorded in the last few hours and its protagonist is Vivian Polanía, a Colombian judge.

The lawyer from Cucuteña had previously generated questions and accusations for the publications she made on her social networks.

However, now the issue is different, Polanía was surprised in the middle of a virtual stage while smoking, lying down, scantily clad and apparently almost asleep.

The recording was released this Thursday and according to local media, it was carried out through the Zoom platform.

During the procedure, the judge can be heard when she says “thank you, Dr. Marco, very kind… Dr. Hader.”

After several seconds it is observed when she lies down on the bed, she has a cigarette in her right hand, “disheveled and with her face with a striking countenance.”

That’s how it was captured

At that same moment, another of the people on the stage alerts her and says “Madam Judge, your camera is on.”

This was the situation:

The Cúcuta Mobility portal that made the video public also stated that at another time another video recently circulated “in which the judge is heard telling a lawyer to take ‘a few drops of marijuana’ to relieve stress.

They have criticized her

In social networks many have criticized her for the event.

They assure that “it is sad if that is done by a judge, who has disciplinary investigations and with those attitudes… what can we expect from justice”, “that is the image of justice in Colombia… they pass it on where we already know”, “imagine in whose hands are we”, “how sad that in the branch of justice there are people with a lack of ethics, neatness and criteria to carry out their work and more than a judge””.

They have also defended

  • «Normal, they viralize what works, it has nothing to do with the decisions you make. She is attentive, we all do it, she turned on the camera and that’s it. Double standards of lawyers and of all of us.
  • “I don’t see how it affects them. We all do it virtually, but since you can’t see it on camera, nothing happens. What double standards we always handle. An excellent judge, exemplary and that is what we need. Imagine the maximum degree of stress that the doctor must handle. I work tripled in virtuality and nobody sees it ».

It had already been controversial before

Vivian Polanía is a Colombian judge who shows off a healthy body and a healthy lifestyle on her social networks.

The woman from Cucuteña works in the important judicial field in Colombia, although perhaps because of her photos on her Instagram account, many believe that “it does not appear.”

The woman confessed that she has about 37 tattoos all over her body, and that many point to her as “unprofessional” for it. However, she states that many associate having tattoos with being a criminal, but she states that this is not the case.

«Regarding my clothes and the way I dress, it is the free development of the personality. I absolutely disagree. Not all judges, officials, employees, people are the same,” said Vivian Polanía.

Vivian was the object of accusations in the judicial environment for disclosing her photos on social networks, which they classified as “unethical.” These criticisms reached the superiors of the judge from Cucuta.

At the time, CNN He indicated that for said “behavior” on social networks he has an investigation for a “conduct that compromises the dignity of the administration of justice.”

Yeimy Ilias, the teacher who would have been fired for her posts on social networks, is an ‘influencer’

Added to this is the fact that in recent months, according to the newspaper Time, The Sectional Council of the Judiciary of Norte de Santander reminded the officials of the judicial branch: “to take care that their personal presentation corresponds to the decorum that should characterize the exercise of their mission.”

However, Vivian assures that her lifestyle and her photographs do not interfere at all when she puts on “the gown” to work.

Vivian feels supported by Internet users since they allege that in the Colombian Constitution there is article 16, which talks about the free development of personality.
