He added that in September and October they dedicated themselves to carrying out a diagnostic evaluation of the students and now they systematize the results in order to design learning recovery strategies.
“Let’s see, I’ll tell you, what are we proposing? First, the boys, girls and young people return; what we need is for them to go back to school, which we call tuition recovery. The diagnosis is made at school to know how we are, we have to know. Now we are going to define how we are going to address the lack of some learning, ”she explained.
Although the teaching staff may apply failing grades again, Ramírez Amaya clarified that the objective is to support the students during their teaching.
“When it is put that way, as you are asking me, it seems that our objective is ‘we can no longer accredit them.’ No, our goal is for them to be in school, for them to learn there and for them to be happy, because that also has to do with something that the senators raised: emotional and socio-emotional health. So, we want to leave it as an administrative matter, but the most important thing is that the boys, girls, young people are in schools learning, ”he said.
