Two criminals were killed after confronting officials attached to the Organized Crime Directorate of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) on Wednesday night in La Colonia Tovar (Aragua), according to reports.
One of the victims is known by the nickname of La Flute. The subjects belong to the criminal organization founded by Carlos Eduardo Gómez Rodríguez (El Conejo), who had his base of operations in the municipality of Santos Michelena (Las Tejerías), Aragua. The subject is on the run.
At the site, police officers seized three 7.62×51 caliber light automatic rifles (FAL), a 9mm Glock pistol, a 16-gauge shotgun, a Hilux vehicle, and a motorcycle.
Another armed confrontation occurred on Wednesday night in Altos de Soapire, Santa Teresa (Miranda) with the balance of an injured PNB agent, identified as 23-year-old Dany José Bernal Montoya. Commissions remain deployed in the area.
