The wholesale price index registered an increase of 4.8% in October compared to September, while the cost of construction marked an advance of 6.8% in the same period, reported this Thursday the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses ( Indec).
With these increases, in the first ten months of the year, wholesale prices rose 72.7% and the cost of construction, 77.6%.

Meanwhile, in the last twelve months the increase was 81.8% for wholesale prices and 71.6% in regards to the cost of construction
In this way, INDEC concluded with the dissemination of the price indices that began on Tuesday with the retail segment, which in October marked a rise of 6.3%, with which it added 76.6% in the first ten months and 88% in the interannual measurement.

The 8.2% rise in Wholesale Prices during October was driven by a 2% rise in Primary Products, 5.4% in Manufactured Products, 6.6% in Imported Products, together with 1.5% in the Energy.
In the Primary, the rises of 5.3% in Crude Oil and Gas stood out; of 5.6% in Non-metallic minerals, while on the side of the falls were located the Agricultural products (-0.2%) and fishing (-1.1%).
