In Villavicencio the controversy over the accident continues, the motorist has not yet gone to the authorities, the dog did not survive.
Colombian News.
On Catama Avenue in Villavicencio, a dog was run over when it was crossing the road, on the motorcycle that hit it, there were three adults carrying a baby, the man who was driving got off and also kicked it.
The case continues to be a matter of debate and controversy.
In addition to the overcrowding and the obvious lack of traffic regulations, there is outrage because the motorist got out and kicked the injured dog in the street.
Many defend it and point out that it was due to adrenaline and fright, “probably because of the girl.”
The baby they were carrying as a passenger in the arms of a woman apparently suffered no injuries. Neither the other two adults.
However, while writhing in pain, the dog was kicked by the motorcycle.
One of the women who was a barbecue complained to the driver for kicking the animal, and he went and picked it up, put it on the platform.
It was learned that the dog died, the internal injury from the motorcycle hit at the speed it was going, caused it to bleed.
The mayor of the capital of Meta, Felipe Harman, has asked the motorcycle driver to report to a police station and answer for the accident, as well as a traffic penalty.
He pointed out that despite the virality of the video, which also shows how the whole accident occurred, the motorist has not spoken.
Controversy
The debate is about non-compliance with traffic regulations and the risk to which all those who were on the motorcycle were exposed, “because it was also going at full speed passing a corner and crossing”, they were carrying a baby.
However, it is also questioned whether the dogs really were from the street or if they were let out of a house without accompaniment or leashes.
Likewise, they question the administration about the high presence of stray animals, crossing the roads and in other spaces, “without being attended to or helped by their administration,” they claim Harman.
