Census: tension grows in the Plan with a new confrontation between blockers and MAS supporters

Tension grows on Avenida La Campana del Plan 3,000 with the confrontation between blockers and supporters of the Movement for Socialism (MAS) who oppose the strike in favor of the census. A strong police contingent arrived at this place to disperse both sides.

The residents of the La Campana neighborhood denounced EL DEBER that a group of supporters of the MAS, who are based on the obelisk, started the conflict by throwing stones and firecrackers towards the area where there was a vigil in favor of the strike.

It was thus that the confrontation began and the policemen who were in the place could not do anything, so a strong contingent arrived to reinforce them. While the living of the Plan burned tires on the avenue La Campana to prevent the shock group from crossing to attack them.

The police contingent set up a barricade to prevent the conflict from continuing between the group at the roundabout and those from the La Campana neighborhood. However, the confrontation moved to the La Bomba neighborhood, located on the main avenue of Plan 3,000.

There are hundreds of people who are faced with sticks, stones and firecrackers. The area was stained dark due to smoke and tear gas fired by riot police.

The residents of the area indicated to a team from EL DEBER that the confrontations are constantly recorded in the Plan because a group of people related to the MAS takes refuge in an accommodation near the obelisk and that it is guarded by the Police.
