The former defender, started at the Núñez institution, signed his contract at the Más Monumental offices, valid until December 2025.
Marcelo Gallardo’s successor was accompanied by Jorge Brito (president), Matías Patanian (1st vice president) and Ignacio Villarroel (2nd vice president).
Demichelis toured the club’s facilities, such as the local locker room, the concentration of the professional squad, the playing field and the River Museum, according to River press reports.
