The value of tolls to the Coast of Buenos Aires will increase by 90%

Starting next December, the tolls that correspond to the Integral Road System of the Atlantic, which has a concession by Autopistas de Buenos Aires SA (AUBASA), will increase their value by 90%. They will also have a 35% increase in the month of March 2023.

The Government of the Province of Buenos Aires, preceded by Axel Kicillof, has already formalized the increase in tolls of the Atlantic Coast, the first of 90% and the second of 35% in the cost of the tax.

These increases in taxes were authorized by resolution 1549 of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Services after a request from the company AUBASA. From the aforementioned company, they explained that the tolls increased their value 38.91% in the month of August and that these increases “were lower than the update rates applicable by contract.”

In this way, as of December 1, the increase in the price of tollswhich will be as follows: at the toll booths of Samborombón (Route 2), Maipú (Route 2) and La Huella (Route 11), the rate for cars will increase from $180 to $350, while the discounted price will go from $150 to $250.

On the other hand, and to a lesser extent, in the tolls from Madariaga (Route 74) and from Mar Chiquita (Route 11), the rate for cars will rise from $80 to $150. In both cases, the bonus rate will remain at $100.

Due to the fact that the Buenos Aires Government has already formalized the 35% increase in the toll value for March 2023, it is known that the tax will be adjusted as follows: in the tolls from Samborombón (Route 2), Maipú (Route 2) and La Huella (Route 11), the rate for cars will increase to $450 and the subsidized price will be $350.
