FANB seizes 17 panelas of cocaine in transit to Táchira

In a message on his account on the social network Twitter, Hernández Lárez explained that the cocaine panels, with a total weight of 9,090 kilograms, were hidden in a vehicle from Colombia.

“#FANB in ​​the fight against drug trafficking, made the seizure of 17 panelas of cocaine with a weight of 9,090 Kg, hidden in a vehicle, coming from Colombia, bound for La Fria Edo Táchira, and the apprehension of 2 GEDO subjects The Yepez,” he published.

More drugs seized

In the same state of Táchira, at the Simón Bolívar Citizen Service Post (PAC), in the Bolívar municipality, members of the FANB they arrested a citizen that transported 100 wrappers type finger cots of presumed marijuana.

The drug weighed 0.945 kilograms and also came from Colombia, Hernández Lárez said.

“In PAC Simón Bolívar Mcpio Bolívar, Edo Táchira, FANB made the apprehension of a cddna who was transporting the amount of 100 finger cots of presumed marijuana, weighing 0.945 kg from the Republic of Colombia, bound for the city of Barinas”, said the Chief of Ceofanb on Twitter.

Continuing with the anti-drug operations, but in Miranda state, the FANB seized two packages of marijuana, weighing 2,076 kilograms. They were hidden in a parcel from the TEALCA company.

“SDT officials in the Playa Pintada sector, Miranda state, made the seizure of two (02) marijuana wrappers with a weight of 2,076 Kg hidden in a parcel from the shipping company TEALCA, coming from Caracas, bound for Maturín, Monagas state,” said the Chief of Ceofanb.

On the other hand, members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces detained this Tuesday three citizens with more than a kilogram of drugsat the Citizen Service Point (PAC) in the state of Táchira.

FANB active against drug trafficking

Given these drug seizure operations throughout the country, the head of Ceofanb, Domingo Hernández Lárez, confirmed that the FANB continues to be deployed in its fight against drug trafficking.

“Venezuela actively fights against drug trafficking, to prevent its entry from the border states,” he stressed.
