In the DR there are 441 active cases of covid-19

En RD hay 441 casos activos de covid-19

The Ministry of Public health reported this Wednesday 441 active cases of COVID-19 in Dominican Republic in its epidemiological bulletin number 972.

According to the report of General Directorate of Epidemiology (DIGEPI) positivity in the last four weeks stands at 1.58%.

The document adds that 57 new cases of coronavirus were detected yesterday and there were no reports of deaths in the last 24 hours.

To date, 4,384 people have died in the DR from the disease, and the lethality stands at 0.68%.

Yesterday, 995 covid tests were processed, of which 576 were PCR and 419 antigenic.

The bulletin indicates that 11 people are hospitalized in stable conditions for COVID-19there are two in the intensive care unit, but none have a ventilator.
