A 10-year-old girl died this Monday after staying at the Domingo Luciani hospital due to bullet wounds she suffered while inside her residence.
This event occurred last Sunday in the La Lira sector, petare, according to versions collected from police agencies and family members. There was a group there drinking alcoholic beverages and one of them began firing shots into the air.
It is at that moment that the girl Yarimar Sierra Elías (10) leaned out of a window and was shot in the head.
Apparently, the author of the shots is an active official of the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (dgcim).
Initially, the girl was taken to a CDI and later to the Domingo Luciani hospital where she died on Monday between 6 and 7 am.
Another version indicates that the Dgcim agent got into a fight with the girl’s uncles and it is in the middle of that conflict that the minor was shot.
So far the authorities have not reported any arrests for this crime.
