The “Pacifying my Neighborhood, Building the Future” Program has borne fruit in the province of Chiriquí, since on Monday, November 14, 30 firearms and more than 150 ammunition were exchanged for vouchers at the Las Lomas Community Board Gym , David district.
According to the National Police, among the weapons seized, 5 are revolvers, 2 pistols, 2 shotguns, 2 rifles, 5 pellet guns, 1 pellet revolver, 13 pellet rifles, plus 3 short magazines, 3 metal handcuffs and a telescopic sight.
The district of David is the second point in the province of Chiriquí, where this program is carried out, which has prompted many people to go and deliver firearms, accessories, among other items anonymously, obtaining their exchangeable voucher in various shops.
