The National Intelligence Directorate (DINI) rejected the expressions of violence against the head of state peter castle last Tuesday, January 18 by the journalist Dave Hernández Vilca on his social networks. Through a statement, the institution also condemned any act of discrimination, even more so “when it comes to the President of the Republic.”
“Given this fact and, in the exercise of its functions, the National Intelligence Directorate (DINI) rejects and condemns all acts of discrimination and violence against any person and, with even greater reason, when it comes to the President of the Republic, who personifies our nation”, the intelligence institution spoke.
Likewise, the State entity recalled that one of its main functions is to provide the leader and to the Council of Ministers strategic intelligence information for the formulation and execution of government actions and policies.

In this sense, he pointed out that, through the intelligence components of the National Intelligence System, it “is focusing its efforts to counteract and neutralize, through the competent authorities, any aggression against the integrity of the Mr President of the Republic, given that it threatens the integral development of the nation”.
For this reason, the National Intelligence Directorate urged citizens to build and maintain a climate of peace that allows achieving general well-being “for the entire society.”
Ombudsman: “We reject violent and discriminatory speech by a journalist against the president”
The Ombudsman joined the pronouncements against the threatening message issued by a journalist from a local media to the detriment of the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, in which an attempt was made against his integrity. The autonomous constitutional body rejected the threats made by the press man and urged the prosecution to take the corresponding actions.
