With the aim of promoting Russian culture in Cuba, a day organized by the embassy of that country began today in Havana.
The diplomatic representation announced the calendar of the event, which will last until November 20 and will cover different activities related to cinema, animation and photography. Also conferences and concerts in the historic center of the Cuban capital.
The calendar began today Monday with the show Showing the cartoon The Snow Queenat the San Jerónimo School, and the San Rafael movie theater will show Russian audiovisuals for children.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, the film will be screened at the Chaplin Cinema, on 23 between 10 and 12. World Championabout one of the most dramatic duels in chess history: the matches for the world title, in 1978, Philippines, between the monarch Anatoly Karpov and the contender Víctor Korchnoi.
The photographic exhibition also stands out modern moscow, which will be inaugurated on November 16 at the Old Havana Planetarium. Lectures on bilateral relations and the space industry will be given at the University of Havana.
The musical of the day will be in charge of the Lyubo-Milo ensemble. A representation of Russian musicians will perform a jazz concert at the Cuban Art Factory.
