The Fanb seized a farm invaded by an irregular group

FANB deactivates explosives from Tancol groups in Apure

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) seized a cattle herd that was presumably occupied by alleged members of the National Liberation Army (ELN), a Colombian guerrilla organization.

The information was provided by Santos Torrealba, owner of the farm taken over. Santos denounced last week in a video that 250 ELN men occupied the Los Zamuracos herd, located in Elorza (Apure) and demanded the sum of 1 million dollars to evict her.

But this Sunday, Santos Torrealba appeared in another video surrounded by soldiers and informing that they were heading towards the herd he owned.

“I am accompanied by the major general in charge of Redi Los Llanos and with the general in charge of Zodi Apure, where they are supporting us with the Armed Forces to take possession of our company,” Torrealba said in a video released by the Apure Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone.

“The message is that we are counting on the support of the Venezuelan armed forces,” concludes the rancher.

After the words, the video shows images of Torrealba boarding a military vessel escorted by others.
