It should be remembered that Enarsa had made the call for Public Tender on September 5 for the elaboration of the extended basic engineering of the second stage of the GPNK, whose layout will extend from Salliqueló to San Jerónimo.

These are 583 kilometers that will be covered with a 36-inch pipeline, consisting of 56,700 12-meter-long steel pipes, Economía detailed in a statement.

The works in the second stage will allow expand capacity by 25% of the national trunk gas pipeline transportation system, valuing the Vaca Muerta reserves.

It is expected that the works will have a term of 120 calendar days and, in addition to basic engineering, they include the cadastral survey and the preparation of the gas pipeline planimetry, explained the state company.

On August 10, the contracts for carrying out the civil works of the first stage of the GPNK had been signed, which joins the Neuquén town of Tratayén with Salliqueló, crossing the provinces of Río Negro and La Pampa, as well as complementary works such as the Mercedes-Cardales gas pipeline.
