The latest monthly report from Speedtest.net, which measures mobile and fixed broadband speeds around the world, placed Venezuela at the bottom of both lines.
In the service for mobile telephony, the country ranked 136th worldwide with only 5.58 megabytes per second, only surpassing three countries (Afghanistan, Haiti and Cuba).

As for fixed broadband, the country continues to decline, since it ranks 140th, surpassing only African and Middle Eastern countries, which face internal wars.

The ranking in fixed broadband is led by Chile, while Norway provides the best service for the mobile system.
