One of the relatives of the prisoner of conscience spoke on condition of anonymity to Article 66 that «this is terrible, we have not seen it; We are uncertain because we do not know how he is. We know that every minute you spend locked up is exasperating.

In March of this year, the justice of the regime of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo sentenced him to ten years in prison for the alleged crime of “conspiring to undermine national integrity” to the detriment of the State of Nicaragua and Nicaraguan society. He was also disqualified from holding public office for the same period. The trial was conducted by the judge Felix Salmeron Moreno, of the Fifth Criminal Trial District of Managua.
