the president of IPAE Business Association, Gonzalo Galdos, spoke out against the absence of the head of state, Pedro Castillo, and the head of Congress, José Williams (Avanza País), in the CADE Executives 2022.
Galdos pointed out that the absence of Castillo Terrones did not generate surprise among the CADE attendees. In that sense, he explained that they knew that the president was not going to attend when the event was about to end.
“In general I think the reaction was very calm, I don’t think it was a surprise that the president did not attend the closing ceremony. We had been consulted until the last moment about his presence and we did not receive any objective information and we started thinking that it was very likely that he would not attend. In the end, it was confirmed to us that he would not be there, practically at the moment in which the closing began.”, he stated in dialogue with RPP.

Along the same lines, the businessman said he was disappointed in the head of Parliament, who announced that he was going to attend this activity, since he maintained that they had planned a dialogue with both powers of the State.
“In the same way I have to extend our disappointment at the absence of the president of Congress. He had announced that he would be present and in the end he did not show up. We as IPAE and CADE we had organized a process of dialogue with the powers of the State”, highlighted Gonzalo Galdos.
Likewise, the president of the IPAE Business Association called on the Executive and Parliament to put an end to the crisis that the country is going through, but emphasized that it be done in a democratic manner.
“I would like to take this opportunity to call on the Executive and Legislative Branches to play the role that history demands of them today, the solution to the crisis.. It has to be a democratic and constitutional solution.”, he expressed.
