In addition, he criticized the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations (SAC) has approved the final report against Pedro Castillo with 11 votes in favor and 10 against. “It is unfortunate the formalization of that report of a treasonAlready that we are all aware that there is no treason against the country. There is no specific act that has generated such a fact”, he narrowed down.
In this sense, he called on lawmakers to reconsider report for treason with the aim of “no longer generating greater ungovernability, but quite the opposite, closing social gaps, bringing a new social pact.”
“I invite and exhort all parliamentary brothers to reflect because all the Peruvian people see us millimeter by millimeter the actions we do and today, in this political chaos, the conflict between the Executive and Legislative is evident”, he added.
Pedro Castillo’s lawyer: “We request that it be returned to the Subcommission”
Earlier, José Palomino Manchego, lawyer for Pedro Castillosaid that he sent a request to the Standing Commission to return what was approved in the Subcommittee.
During an interview on TV Peru, the lawyer argued that said complaint for treason should not continuesince the term of the ordinary legislature has expired and because Lady Camoneshead of the working group, advanced opinion with his vote in favor.
