Alva will give his defenses for aggression against 'Chabelita' before the Ethics Commission

The Parliamentary Ethics Commission will continue this Monday, November 14, with the hearing of the complaint against the former president of Congress (Popular Action) for the aggression against (Democratic Change).

On that day, Alva Prieto’s statement is expected to be received, as well as other testimonies and the presentation of final arguments from the parties involved. The session will start at 5:00 pm

In the previous session, the arguments of Sigrid Bazan and Ruth Luque, both from Cambio Democrático, who filed the complaint. Cortez’s statement was also heard.

On the other hand, the Ethics Commission will review eight qualification reports referring to nine complaints filed against parliamentarians from various benches.

These have been filed against congresswomen Isabel Cortez, Patricia Chirinos (Advance Country) and Gladys Echaiz (Popular Renewal); Tania Ramirez (People’s Force), Margot Palacios (Free Peru) and Silva Monteza (People’s Action).

These reports also refer to complaints filed against legislators Darwin Espinoza and Raúl Doroteo, both from Acción Popular.
