The president of the Republic, peter castleassured that he will defend “together with the people” the fact that his government was elected for a period of five years.
“This town has put us for a period and we will be respectful and, if not, we will make it prevail together with the town”assured.
In an event from Cajamarca, in which he was accompanied by several state ministers this Saturday the 12th, the president questioned Congress for not addressing bills sent by the Executive.
“That does not give a damn to Parliament. We want to recover the energy resources that Peru’s wealth has, we want democratic stability and governance converted into bills in Parliament (sic), but Parliament does not give a damn”asserted after indicating that they should stop putting “trips to the Government.”

Castillo reiterated that, as on other occasions, “fiscal folders and constitutional complaints” have been invented, in addition to investigating his relatives and members of his environment and ministers.
“From here I am going to tell them: they will have everything, they will have money, they will have economic power, but they are not right and much more, they do not have the people because it is the people who are going to make their rights prevail”commented.
On the eve of these statements, the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations approved the report that recommends disqualifying him from the exercise of public office for five years and that he be prosecuted in the Public Ministry for the alleged crime of treason.
