A total of 33 new COVID-19 infections were detected in the last 24 hours, of which 19 are community and 14 imported, which brings the total confirmed to 546,262, 537 active cases, while the number of recovered it is located in 539 thousand 901 patients, thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.
This was announced this Friday by the Vice President of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the social network Twitter, @luchaalmada.
He reported that the community cases are located in the states: Caracas (7), Miranda (4), Yaracuy (3), Nueva Esparta (2), Bolívar (1), Lara (1), Zulia (1).
Caracas is the state where the largest number of new community cases with active infections are detected in 6 of its 22 parishes: El Junquito (2), Caricuao (1), El Valle (1), El Recreo (1), Santa Rosalía ( 1) and Sucre (1).
The 14 imported cases come from Panama (7), the Dominican Republic (2), Türkiye (4) and Spain (1), all with entry through La Guaira.
Unfortunately, we report 1 63-year-old man who died in Barinas, to reach 5,824 throughout the national territory. Condolences to his family and loved ones.
To date we have 310 patients who are asymptomatic, 104 with mild Acute Respiratory Failure, 74 with Moderate Acute Respiratory Failure and 49 in the Intensive Care Unit.
In week 139 and day 971 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general statistics:
