The Caja de Profesionales (CJPPU) will offer its retirees and pensioners a year-end loan for a term of 10 months, that may be requested during November so that they can collect it together with the liabilities that are paid in December, informed the president of the CJPPU board, Virginia Romero.
“The savings bank traditionally advances the payment of pensions and retirement benefits in December before Christmas, when in the rest of the months it is paid at the end of the month. Those who apply for the loan will be paid on that date along with the passivity, “said Romero.
The request can be made via the web —having a user—, until November 25, and can also be done in person at the offices of the bank until December 2 inclusive.
The institution’s loan will have an annual rate of 18% on balances. The maximum amount that retirees may request will be $50,000 and in the case of pensioners, $25,000.
The payment will be made together with the passivity of December 2022 and will be in 10 monthly and consecutive installments that will be deducted from the retirement or pension.
