The company Ares Mining again denounced the invasion illegal operation of its Inmaculada mining unit, known as Mina Inmaculada, by residents of the Huancute Annex, in Ayacucho. The alleged invaders cut, during the night, several sections of the metal mesh of the perimeter of the mine.
A group of invaders also attacked the dump trucks that pass through the mining unit with stones, endangering the physical integrity of the workers and generating interruptions in the operation of the mine. The mine points out these actions as serious acts, since they constitute the crimes of aggravated usurpation, aggravated material damage to private property, violation of domicile and disturbances.
They even pointed out that the people leading this invasion are using the presence of women, as well as cattle, to prevent them from being evicted by the police, who are in the Immaculate Mine in order to restore order and provide the necessary security to recover the tranquility in the area.
The Ares mining company holds the leaders of the Huancute Annex and their advisers responsible for the events that have been occurring and for any act of violence that may be triggered by this illegal and arbitrary action.
The company proceeded to make the corresponding complaints before the Public Ministry and the National Police of Peru, regarding these acts that threaten private property and the safety of the workers of the Inmaculada Mine, and to request the immediate intervention of the authorities to evict the invaders and thus guarantee the integrity of the more than 1,700 collaborators who work in the mine.

ORIGINAL NOTE
The Minera Ares company denounced the illegal invasion of its Inmaculada mining unit, known as Mina Inmaculada, by residents of the Huancute Annex, in Ayacucho.
Through a statement, the mining company reported that early this Friday some citizens cut the metal mesh that is on the perimeter of the Inmaculada Mine in order to illegally invade private property, which constitutes both the crime of usurpation, and crime of material damage.
In this sense, the Ares Mining Company “holds the leaders of the Huancute Annex and their advisers responsible in advance for any act of violence that may arise from this illegal and arbitrary action.”
Likewise, they specified that it is not the first time that acts have been carried out that threaten their legitimate possession of the area in question. “It should be noted that, on several occasions, groups of residents have entered our property without authorization despite repeated requests not to enter the industrial area of the Inmaculada Mine. Unfortunately, some residents carry out acts, such as those described, accompanied by children, exposing them to this type of situation”, it reads.
They denounced invasion
On the other hand, the Ares Mining Company proceeded to make the corresponding complaints before the Public Ministry and the National Police of Peru.
“We alert the authorities to intervene guaranteeing order, as well as the integrity of the more than 1,700 employees of Compañía Minera Ares who work in the Inmaculada Mine and avoid events that could generate violence and material damage, as corresponds in a rule of law. ”they urged.
It should be noted that the Inmaculada Mine carries out its activities on land on which it has mining easements granted by the owners of said land. In addition, it has possession rights granted by possessors of the Huancute Annex itself and by the Qatary Huancute Association.
