This Saturday, the head of the Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, reported that they inspected the facilities of the Caño Amarillo shelter that will house 200 victims.
“We inspected the facilities of the Caño Amarillo shelter, which will house 200 affected people. This space has a dining room, laundry room, recreation room and impeccable rooms; all the comforts for the well-being of the people », Fernández highlighted through his social networks.
This inspection was headed by the mayor of the Bolivarian Libertador municipality of Caracas, A/J Carmen Meléndez, and the Minister of Popular Power for Habitat and Housing, Ildemaro Villarroel.
It should be noted that the National Government is evaluating the Strategic Plan to continue strengthening solidarity shelters for families affected by the rains in Caracas.
In the capital city, several families from the 23 de Enero, Sucre, La Vega and Macarao parishes have lost their homes and others have been evicted because they are in risk areas after the heavy rains in the country.
