SANTO DOMINGO.- The judge of the Permanent Attention Office of the National District, Lissa Verás, sentenced Francisco Javier García Quezada to three months in prison as coercive measures, accused of murdering 13 stab wounds and dismembering Jesús Cuevas Peña, an event that occurred at the defendant’s residence , located in the San José neighborhood, at Kilometer 7 of Carretera Sánchez, on October 6.

The magistrate ordered that the accused must comply with the coercion measure in the Najayo prison. The victim was reported missing by her relatives on October 6.

The defendant Francisco Javier García Quezada admitted the facts to the police officers after his arrest last Thursday at 2:00 in the afternoon. The accused used a mocha-type white weapon, a hacksaw and a hammer to mutilate the body of his victim.

The Public Ministry accuses García Quezada (Anthony) of murder and illegal possession of a weapon.
The document establishes that on October 6, at 6:30 in the afternoon, the victim communicated with the accused via cell phone and agreed to go to García Quezada’s residence, located in the San José sector of the Sánchez Highway. , National District, to talk about the business of some informal loans they had in common.

After Cuevas Peña was in the home of the defendant García Quezada, he took advantage of the fact that the victim was sitting on one of the chairs in the dining room and stabbed him 13 times until he died.

In the instance it is indicated that the accused immediately proceeded to cut his victim in half, at the level of the trunk and the pelvis and after mutilating the corpse, he put it in a tank which he covered and kept there for days.

After introducing the victim’s body parts into the tank, the defendant sealed them with covers, adhesive tape, and placed two blocks on top, then placed it in one of the rooms of the residence.

The document establishes that the defendant García Quezada used a white weapon (mocha type), a hacksaw, and a hammer to sever the body of Cuevas Peña. These evidences were seized by the authorities at the residence of the accused, who would have confessed to the crime.

Confusion
Yesterday marked one month since the murder of Cuevas Peña. The accused’s neighbors affirm that they did not hear anything the day the crime occurred because the accused turned on the radio and turned up the volume.

They said that they did not realize what had happened, since Anthony (defendant) who lived with his son, behaved normally and shared with the neighbors and slept in his residence.

However, the neighbors indicated that the pipes gave off a bad smell, so they looked for a plumber to solve the problem that they believed to be the septic tank.

It was not until last Thursday, November 3, when the authorities arrested García Quezada, that the neighbors became aware of the murder of Cuevas Peña.

This case is similar to the one committed by Víctor Alexander Portorreal Mendoza, (Chamán Chacra) convicted of murdering his partner and his three stepchildren, who even slept with the corpses. This fact, for which he is serving a 30-year sentence.
