Medical care in “Chicho” Fábrega continues despite flooding due to broken pipe

After the rupture of a pipe was reported at the Luis “Chicho” Fábrega Hospital, in the province of Veraguas, the director of the hospital center Saúl Jované, assured that the maintenance teams are working on the repair of the pipe.

He stressed that this damage occurred in the early hours of the morning of this Friday, November 11, and work was immediately carried out on its repair.

According to Jované, the degree of pressure of the water handled by the pipes in this medical center is very high, so that the water can be distributed throughout the Hospital, which could have caused this damage.

The doctor indicated that no damage was reported to medical equipment, materials, or care was interrupted.

He explained that the sterilization and ceiling areas on the ground floor of the hospital were partially flooded.

He denied that this damage has anything to do with the rains that are taking place in the province and assured that it is an isolated and fortuitous event.

He reiterated that despite this fact, care at the Hospital continues on a regular basis.
