The neighborhood pedestrians are held in Montevideo, organized by the Municipality of Montevideo. It is a program that seeks to generate vehicle-free spaces during certain days and times where you can develop recreational, leisure and meeting activities.

According to the commune, they are city streets proposed by the neighborhood. “The mayor has mobile resources that rotate between the different pedestrian areas with the aim of adding content to local activities. It also has a couple of re-enactors who support the organization of the day by carrying out, in coordination with the local organization, at least one playful proposal”, he pointed out.
