The Judiciary suspended the hearing where the request for 36 months of preventive detention against Alexander Sanchezowner of the house on the jirón Sarratea where President Pedro Castillo secretly dispatched, until next Monday, November 14 at 3:00 p.m.
The decision was made by the Fourth Preparatory Investigation Court of the National Superior Courtby Judge Víctor Zúñiga Urday, after this Friday’s session that lasted more than 4 hours.
In today’s hearing, the Public Ministry presented the first budget to request preventive detention against Sánchez Sánchez, who has been a fugitive from justice since last October 11.
The other three defendants against whom the Special Team of Prosecutors Against Corruption in Power requested preventive detention received 30 months of pretrial detention.
Is about Salatiel Marrufo (former adviser to the Housing sector); Biberto Castillo and Abel Cabrerawho are being investigated for the alleged crime of criminal organization and others in the case called ‘Cabinet in the Shadows’.
It should be noted that Sánchez Sánchez is the owner of the house in the Sarratea passage in Breña and is being investigated for the alleged crime of criminal organization in the so-called Saratea case.
Alejandro Sánchez will not surrender
Through social networks and from secrecy, the owner of the house in Sarratea ruled out that he would put himself in the hands of the authorities despite the preliminary arrest warrant against him.
“I have not committed any crime, and I have nothing to say to be an effective collaborator (…) if I had committed any crime, I would first ask God, my family and my entire country for forgiveness; then I would surrender to justice without the need for them to look for me, but since I am not guilty of anything, I will not do it “he noted in his Facebook post.
“If the Public Ministry says otherwise, I give them two options to present myself: 1. Show me convincing evidence or element of conviction respecting professional ethics, not based on sayings and gossip from criminals who want to be saved from jail. 2. Bring (César) Hinostroza and (Alejandro) Toledo”he added.
