Within the framework of the 30 years of political creation of the Ciudad Nueva district, the District Municipality of Ciudad Nueva presented to the population the official program of activities that will take place, the main one being on Saturday, November 19 with the development of the protocol ceremony , civic parade and solemn session in José Olaya Balandra square.

The first day will be this Saturday, November 12, with the Great Pedestrian Race 2022 “Exercise New City”, aimed at schoolchildren in the jurisdiction, which will have Plaza 28 de Agosto (8:00 a.m.) as its concentration and starting point, being the goal the José Olaya Balandra square.
Suma Uru Food Festival
The next day, Sunday, November 13, from 8 a.m., the 5th Suma Uru Gastronomic Festival will take place in Plaza José Olaya with the presentation and sale of the best of local, regional and national cuisine, as well as desserts and handicrafts. In addition, there will be singing and dancing contests and there will be an artistic show for children. Also, next to this public space, free deworming of dogs will be carried out.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, November 16, a boxing evening will be held from 6:30 p.m. in the amphitheater of the main square of the district, with the Dínamo and Látigo Ygarza clubs as protagonists.

Next, on Thursday, November 17, a music retreat will be held by students and alumni of IE Mariscal Cáceres in tribute to the district. The presentation will begin at 4:00 p.m. with the José Olaya Balandra square as the stage.

The central acts will take place on Saturday, November 19, from 8 a.m. with a mass in the Sagrada Familia parish, then the traditional parade of the flag, raising and civic protocol ceremony in the José Olaya square.
