The Provincial Presidential Delegation of Los Andes reported this Friday the suspension of the Cristo Redentor Integrated System, for which the Los Libertadores Border Crossing is closed.
As of 7:00 p.m. today, it is closed, as indicated in the statement. The suspension is due to “weather forecasts of snowfall and fog in high mountains.”
“Users of the Cristo Redentor Integrated System are informed that, by decision of both coordinations, as of 7:15 p.m. today, Friday, November 11, 2022, traffic is suspended for all types of vehicles through this international corridor” , they pointed out.
In addition, they indicated that any information or update on the status of the route will be announced in a timely manner by the official networks.
