The National Communications Entity (Enacom) launched the sixth catalog of the content platform Benteveowith new radio material that can be freely downloaded and broadcast on community radios and in the public media system, which promotes access to audiovisual productions made within the framework of the Competitive Development Fund for Audiovisual Communication Media (Fomeca).
The purpose of the program is “the safeguarding of heritage, the promotion and strategic distribution of audiovisual content, produced through the Fomeca”, and on this occasion, “it is the sixth catalog launched, which addresses different thematic axes, such as Human Rights “, said an official statement.
The productions were made by associations La Propaladora (Neuquén), Barriletes (Entre Ríos), Poriajhú Ecumenical Center (Santa Fe), El Ágora (La Pampa), Mutual Sentimiento (CABA), Retamo (San Juan), the Citizen Association for Human Rights (CABA), the Cooperativa de Trabajo Solidaridad Ltda. (Formosa), Cooperativa Gen Ltda. and Cooperativa Viarava Ltda. (both from Córdoba).
“Through a collaborative scheme, Enacom enters into strategic agreements for the supply and distribution of content through the extensive network of public, university and community media that exist throughout Argentina”noted the letter.
The Benteveo Program was launched in May 2020 and its objective is to value the materials produced through the competitive fund and to form a memory of productions that serves as a background for the different calls and functions as a guide for future productions, thus encouraging the transparency of the promotion policy in its dissemination. .
In this way, the initiative promotes general public access to audiovisual productions made with funding from Fomeca, generating an integration between the various policies and actions of Enacom that manage to maintain continuity and breadth of platforms and spaces in which self-managed content circulate and enrich the communication scene at the national level.
