On the occasion of the 77th birthday of the dictator Daniel Ortega, the vice president of Nicaragua, Rosario Murillo, thanked —according to her— “the overflow” of congratulations from the Nicaraguan people and their allied countries.

“Thank you very much to the thousands, hundreds of thousands, I understand that there are already more than two million Nicaraguans who have expressed themselves on social networks, who have said: “Daniel, we love you,” “said the first lady this Friday through of their propaganda media.

Despite Nicaragua’s repudiation and rejection of Ortega, whom they point to as a human rights violator and perpetrator of crimes against humanity, the deputy dictator referred to her husband as a “personality, today’s historical leader, who, thank God, we have in our Nicaragua and that strengthens us all with his example of dignity and courage.

He also described the illegitimate president of Nicaragua as being an “example” of sovereignty. He also emphasized that the dictator “is an example for everyone. We are proud of his deed, his figure and above all grateful to the Heavenly Father because we have him, because he preserves him and we ask him to keep him with health, vitality and victorious energy to continue forward together with his people » .

Murillo also read the congratulations from his allies from Venezuela, Cuba, Russia and China who praised Daniel Ortega for reaching another year of life. “We want to thank the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin for his message,” he said.

“The People’s Republic of China has also written to us through its president, brother Xi Jinping, wishing that we get better and better uniting and tells Daniel that he is pleased to see that under his leadership the united Nicaraguan government is leading to defend resolutely the sovereignty and national dignity…”, detailed the coordinator of the Citizenship Communication Council.

For his part, the dictator of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, who, like Ortega, keeps the country submerged in poverty and repression, also congratulated his Nicaraguan counterpart, stating that “on this difficult path that we have chosen, it is very valuable to have friends who share our conditions, joys and our anxieties and pains…”.

Ortega, who returned to power in 2007 and has been re-elected for a fourth consecutive term, has intensified his repression against Nicaraguans, imprisoning more than 200 opponents, including 11 Catholic priests, and forcing at least 50 others into exile.

Also, from 2018 to date, it has canceled more than two thousand non-governmental organizations, censored and closed media outlets, and forced thousands of Nicaraguans into exile to protect their lives. Recently, the 153 mayorships of the country were awarded in questionable municipal elections.

Reports on COVID-19 and “regrets” fire of gunpowder sections

In another order, the spokeswoman for the Nicaraguan regime read the report from the Ministry of Health (Minsa) in which it details that six million 117 thousand 626 people over two years of age have been vaccinated with the corresponding doses “to protect us against COVID-19».

Regarding the fire on Thursday afternoon, November 10, which reduced to ashes at least nine gunpowder stations located on the west side of Tiscapa, the deputy president said she regretted the material losses caused by the incident.

«We want to send a greeting to the owners of the nine gunpowder trading posts that suffered losses. We also want to insist on the need and urgency to comply with all measures for the handling of gunpowder and to protect ourselves all », he recommended.

He added that “thank God” —according to the report of the Fire Department— there were no human losses, “but we have to be more and more careful and take into account those indications and regulations dictated by the united firefighters, as well as our National Police to handle gunpowder without risk”, he concluded without informing whether his regime will help the merchants who lost everything.
