The president of the Republic, peter castleassured that they will respond in the next few hours to Congress after the official letter through which they announced that they will raise a question of trust for a bill was rejected.
“We have been patient, we have put before the country, before the eyes of the country to Parliament a prerogative of the Executive as it is a matter of trust to which today we already know the answer”recalled the president.
“I must announce to the Peruvian people that the Executive, by mandate of this people, is going to give them an answer in the next few hours. The Peruvian people must be respected”he added.
The presidency of Congress, in charge of José Williams, rejected the first official letter sent by the president of the Council of Ministers, Aníbal Torres, where it was announced that he would raise a question of confidence so that Parliament proceeds to evaluate in plenary session and without prior processing in commissions an initiative to repeal a law that regulates this same figure.

Despite this, the prime minister reiterated his request and pointed out that the only instance that can rule on a matter of trust is the plenary session of the Legislative Power, for which he indicated in a second official letter that he will propose this constitutional tool in the next plenary session that summon.
“We have come here to be respectful of the mandate of the people, of the more than 9 million Peruvians who have placed their trust in this government. We are going to give a forceful response to the Peruvian people in order to say that this people is respected”said the head of state.
During his speech at an event for the delivery of patrol tools to peasant patrols in Moyobamba, San Martín, Pedro Castillo questions that in the Legislative Branch there are 64 government projects that have not been debated or prioritized.
“On behalf of the Peruvian people, I address the Parliament, the Congress of the Republic. Far from anything else, review those projects, review the demand of the Peruvian people”exhorted President Castillo, who is currently being investigated by the National Prosecutor’s Office.
