Previously, it had been reported Rodriguez’s arrival in France to participate in the international meeting promoted by Macron in 2018, which will focus on the situation in South America.
Venezuela present to speak for peace
This Thursday the President of the Republic, Nicholas Madurohad confirmed the participation of parliamentarian Jorge Rodríguez in the Forum on Peace.
«Jorge Rodríguez must be arriving in Paris. He is going to Paris with a meeting with (the president of France) Emmanuel Macron, to talk about peace », expressed the Venezuelan head of state during the inauguration of Filven 2022.
In the forum, the presidents of Colombia will participate; Gustav Petro; from Argentina, Alberto Fernandez; and a speech by the newly elected president of Brazil, Lula Da Silva, is expected, international media report.
The fifth edition of the Forum will be held under the theme “Overcoming the multi-crisis”, between November 11 and 13 in Paris, France.
Recently, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, had a meeting with the French president, within the framework of the 27th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP27), which was held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
In this meeting, Macron expressed his desire to talk extensively with the Venezuelan president.
