Serge Massa confirmed that this Thursday it will announce a package of measures to “help” retirees to “recover their income.” The announcement will be made at 4:00 p.m. at a press conference.
In the event, the economy minister He will be accompanied by the head of ANSES (National Social Security Administration), Fernanda Raverta. Next to her, Serge Massa It will also announce the fourth and last percentage increase for the assets of retirees and pensioners.
“Tomorrow (for today), at four in the afternoon, we are going to give a press conference with the head of ANSES and there we are going to tell how the formula closes throughout the year and how it is compared to inflation“, indicated Serge Massa in statements to the press.
Alternately, during the same day, the INDEC (National Institute of Statistics and Census) salary index will be known, which will serve to establish, according to the official formula, the increase in salaries for December 2022.
It should be remembered that the UGATT (Associations of Transport Workers) advanced a train stoppage last Tuesday, to demand the payment of a bonus of $50,000 for retirees.
“They are forgetting their colleagues, and we cannot forget our roots. Retirees have to spend their Christmas and New Year’s. That is why we ask for it for the month of December, because they are really screwed and every year”, the union said.
In this sense, the Government could have listened to the request of the workers and possibly prepare an economic reinforcement for retirees, apart from the increase that will be set for the salaries of this sector.
