JCE grants term until the next 21 for observations to regulation

JCE otorga plazo hasta el próximo 21 para observaciones a reglamento

Santo Domingo.- The Central Electoral Board (JCE) held a public hearing with representatives of political parties recognized before that body, as well as with members of civil society, the media and the academic area, to submit observations on the proposed regulation that creates the electoral sanctioning administrative procedure.

Said regulation also puts into operation the Unit for Attention, Follow-up and Execution Mechanisms of Sanctions on the occasion of electoral administrative infractions, penalties and precautionary measures established by electoral laws 15-19 and 33-18.

In that sense, it granted a term until the 21st of this month at 4:00 in the afternoon, so that the representatives of the parties and sectors of civil society deposit before the Secretariat, in writing, any other additional observation on the proposal. .

The plenary of the JCE It is chaired by Román Andrés Jáquez Liranzo and made up of regular members Rafael Armando Vallejo, Dolores Fernández, Patricia Lorenzo Paniagua and Samir Chami Isa, assisted by Secretary General Sonne Beltré.
