Deadline for updating CadÚnico data ends tomorrow

Auxílio Brasil installments paid on Mondays are now advanced

Families enrolled in the Single Registry have until this Friday (11) to update the data from the Single Registry (CadÚnico), the date on which the data review deadline ends. The deadline was extended due to the large queues that have been formed at Reference Centers for Social Assistance (Cras) across the country.Deadline for updating CadÚnico data ends tomorrow

According to the Ministry of Citizenship, this year, only families with registries last reviewed in 2016 or 2017 were invited to update the information with the municipalities.

The cadastral review process was staggered due to the impacts caused by the covid-19 pandemic. With this, families who last updated data in 2018 or 2019 will be summoned in the coming years.

“Families registered in the Cadastro Único must update the data every two years or whenever there is any change. Anyone summoned to investigate and review data must attend a Social Assistance Reference Center or a service center in the municipality’s Single Registry,” the ministry said in a statement.

According to the folder, the cadastral update is “fundamental to ensure the quality of the data and ensure that the information recorded in the Single Registry is always in accordance with the reality of the families”.

Updating the register is mandatory to continue receiving benefits paid via social programs such as Auxílio Brasil, Benefício de Prestação Continuada (BPC), Social Tariff for Electricity (TSEE) and ID Jovem.
