The 47% of the population approves of the management of Carolina Cossé at the head of the Municipality of Montevideo according to a new Teams survey published in Underlined.
The 34% of the population disapprove. 19% expressed intermediate opinions or had no opinion on the subject.
“Cosse has maintained a positive net balance throughout his administration. After the initial “honeymoon”, when positive judgments reached a maximum of 57% (in January 2021), approval levels have moved in a relatively narrow range of between 41% and 51%, and the disapproval in the last three measurements has been somewhat above 30%”, said Equipos in its report.
The report reveals that in the long term “all the Mayors of Montevideo (with the exception of Ana Olivera) had positive balance evaluations at the same time of the period.”
The most prominent cases were those of Tabaré Vázquez and Mariano Arana, who stand out from the rest. In a relatively similar step was Ricardo Ehrlich.
