Collaboration with Finland

For her part, the concurrent ambassador of Finland to Uruguay, Nicola Lindertz, stated that the technical improvement of wood construction is an example of collaboration between both countries because it focuses on practical experiences in topics such as construction techniques, evaluation protocols, technical guidelines for acoustic, thermal and fire conditioning, protection standards and digital issues. Lindertz argued that stimulating the value of this resource under construction implies promoting social, environmental and climatic aspects.
the president of the National Housing Agency (ANV), Klaus Mill von Metzen, for his part, pointed out that a third of the world’s solid waste comes from construction, so thinking about this type of building means a challenge for future sustainability.
