They kill and burn a Nicaraguan migrant in Oaxaca, Mexico

The Nicaraguan migrant identified as Carlos Marconis Anton Catin37, was shot to death and then burned in the city of Chahuites in the Mexican state of Oaxaca, reported the organization Texas Nicaraguan Community.

The humanitarian entity explained that Antón Catín had left since November 5 “to earn some money selling bread and coffee on the streets to continue his journey and he did not return.”

The victim’s family told the Texas Nicaraguan Community that their relative “was traveling to the United States to give his children a better life,” but on the way “they shot and burned him.”

Antón Catín was originally from Chinandega, from the La Florida neighborhood. The young man was identified by his relatives because a funeral home shared on social networks a photograph of a tattoo that said “Mercedes” on his left leg.

“An apology, since out of respect for his relatives we cannot share the images of the full face, particular signs, tattoos on the left leg,” indicates the information published by the San Pedro Funeral Home.

The body of the Nicaraguan was found in a place called “Paso Carreta”, one kilometer from the bridge of the same name, on a dirt road in Chahuites, Mexico.

Mexican media in oaxaca reported the discovery of the body, municipal and state police officers, as well as officers of the National Guard, appeared at the scene to investigate the crime.

The numbers of Nicaraguan migrants who die on their way to the United States continue to rise. There are many who have drowned in the fearsome Rio Grande, others in traffic accidents in Mexico, or have been killed by criminals.
