From the Buenos Aires Ombudsman they registered, during this year, about a dozen complaints for the presence of rats in different schools from the city. In turn, this body demanded that the Buenos Aires Government take charge of the rodents, through rat extermination.
Due to the presence of rodents in at least 12 schools Buenos Aires, the Ombudsman reported in a statement: “Proceedings were opened for each case and the Government of Buenos Aires was required to advance urgently with the deratting, disinsection and hygiene of public roads in the surroundings of the establishment school”.
The complaints were made specifically to the Undersecretary for Urban Hygiene and the Undersecretary for Economic-Financial Management and Resource Administration. After the aforementioned complaints and a symbolic hug, last Thursday and Fridayat school Dellepiane, number 1, school district 17, in the neighborhood of Villa del Parque, due to an increase in the presence of rats, records were made from eleven institutions schoolchildren from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA).
There are also cases of schools where the Buenos Aires government “acted in this regard, but the request was reiterated these days”, there is the school Primary School No. 1 “Antonio Dellepiane”, located in Baigorria 3169; Colegio Del Centenario, school No. 7, school district 2, located at Rio de Janeiro 986, in Caballito, and the school Nº 5, school district 2, in Sarmiento 2832, from Balvanera.

Other public buildings that reported sightings of numerous rodents are No. 3, school district 16, located at Condarco 3984, in the Agronomy neighborhood; No. 17, DE 9, located at Armenia 2214, in the Palermo neighborhood, and No. 4, DE 16, located at Terrada 3983, also in the Agronomy neighborhood.
Likewise, the school No. 5, DE 10, located at Moldes 2043, in Belgrano; Primary Number 26, DE 6, Juan de Garay Avenue 3974, Boedo; the school “José María Ramos Mejía”, No. 16, DE 8, located at Don Bosco 4200, Almagro; the establishment “Manuel Dorrego”, No. 6, DE 10, at calle Besares 2990, Saavedra, and the Normal Superior “Lenguas Vivas”, No. 1, located at Avenida Córdoba 1951.
