The well-known international organization TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design), which was born in California in 1984, dedicated to the organization of free talks and which has specialized speakers around the world, will carry out its 7th edition TEDxLima, “Transforming paradigms”. The purpose of this is to spread the message of transcending and revolutionizing with a cause.
“Transforming paradigms” will feature speakers Peruvians and internationals from various fields, with different visions, but united by a passion for transformation and for offering their knowledge, business, social, cultural, artistic and especially associated with change managers. The speakers will share their experiences in the search for Lima to evolve as a city with talents and with the desire to become visible to the world.
“On this occasion we seek to give priority to all those who want to be heard, this is our transformation, but with a cause, that far from destroying, breaking, corrupting; we seek to build with ideas, with education, with faith and hope. The idea is to look towards our next generations, giving priority to Lima and, in itself, to all of Peru, opening opportunities to talents, from all multidisciplinary sectors, such as the arts. We are sure that companies, science, cooking and everyone will always have something to say thanks to their life experience”, said Ana Romero, organizer of TEDxLima.
During the 7 years, the event has had more than 50 speakers. At the beginning of the pandemic, it added more than 10,000 viewers in the online version and previously exceeded 800 participants in the face-to-face versions.

Also, in the international arena, there will be the participation of Dayanni de la Cruz, Super bowl woman and Hard Rock Cafe” emphasized the Licensee & Curator of TEDx Lima.
This edition seeks to reach university teachers, both public and private. For those who are interested in absorbing all the knowledge that will be shared in TEDxLima and generate the reaction and transformation of the country, especially Lima and all of Peru, to make it visible in the world. On this occasion, the way of convening the attendees has changed, it will no longer be done through a selection process like previous dates. We will also have an acoustic presentation from the group We the Lion.
“The objective of this event is to modify all the changes that were unleashed in 2020 and 2021 during the pandemic, in order to transform ourselves into this new paradigm. We seek to transcend, we want new beginnings, not to stay in the same, live in the present and be able to really strengthen ourselves as a country and as a region,” Romero stressed.
