Indignant was the face of Elizabet Gimón, wife of the governor of Apure, Eduardo Piñate, who denounced the payment of 5 million dollars for a court to hand over the children to a man.
Last Tuesday Gimón accompanied Nagham Nasser, mother of the two children, who along with other people broke into the headquarters of the Lopnna courts located in San Fernando de Apure.
The demonstrators smashed walls, broke glass and came face to face with security personnel from the Lopnna Judicial Circuit. Apparently, Manuel Ayat, father of the two children (8 and 10 years old) went to the Circuit and filed an amparo action that was agreed in his favor. But when another court is going to execute the measure and hands over the two children to the man, the avalanche of women appeared, accompanied by the first lady of Apure, according to videos that run on social networks.
Nagham Nasser, the children’s mother, recorded a video where she reported that last Friday she was summoned to the Lopnna Circuit where officials stripped her of her two children. ”I said, let’s come to an agreement,” the mother said. “I am not the only woman who has suffered from this case, I want to be the last,” said the mother.
In another video, recorded inside the destroyed Lopnna Circuit, the governor’s wife is seen arguing with an official.
“We know that Manuel Ayat has five million dollars to distribute, to get rid of his shit: brother, that is known and it leaves a lot to say within the courts of this country,” denounced Gimón, who explained to the judicial workers that beyond of what is said by the laws ”the children, by nature belong to the mother; the only way they can be taken away from her is if she is crazy, a prostitute or a drug addict and none of the three is”.
The interlocutor of the first lady did not respond and she continued with the talk.
“While Nicolás Maduro is throwing a truckload of balls at him to move the country forward, the judicial system in this country is shit,” he concluded.
Here in Caracas, magistrate Edgar Gavidia, responsible for the application of the Lopnna at the national level, is collecting all the information to make decisions, said a source.
