Renewal of the National Council
The PAN meeting, to which governors, local and federal deputies, senators, national councilors and delegates from all over the country are summoned, will also give way to the renewal of the National Council, in charge of defining the alliance policy, the electoral platform, in addition to some PAN candidates, adds the also former deputy Rodríguez Doval.
“By renewing it on this occasion, like every three years, the party is also strengthened with the renewal of a body that is of enormous relevance. So, with that Assembly, in short, the PAN will in effect declare itself ready to lead, to articulate the efforts of that new majority of Mexicans who want freedom, democracy and for Mexico to go down a safe path, ”he notes.
Thus, PAN wants and is heading to be a party with open doors, he explains, “not for an elite, nor for a certain group, for which it is important to allow the participation of millions of citizens who are very concerned about the direction that is taking over the country.”

They anticipate that within the Statutes the so-called “parity in everything” reform will be established, which is an important element given the growth of women within the party, because half of the state presidents today belong to that gender.
“One thing is that the law is made and another that it is complied with, for this reason it seeks to be a dynamic party with a whole PAN army renewed and very ready,” indicates Martínez Fisher.
He refers that the political action program that has had good support and improvement with different actors, has social inclusion as its central axis, from providing opportunities for families to get ahead.
The idea is to offer citizens a new way to get ahead, for which it is necessary to overcome poverty, create jobs, provide security and clear rules for all economic actors and move towards that other Mexico that is possible, he highlights.
Good Governance Model
The Good Governance Model is a commitment to which the PAN members must commit during the National Assembly, as a result of the consensus of the numerary delegates of the 32 states, who were elected in their Municipal Assemblies.
“National Action must show citizens that in the states, municipalities and cities where it governs there is more development, jobs, investments, social security. The document was approved by the party’s Permanent Commission and must be ratified during the Assembly this weekend,” says Rodríguez Doval.
