It must be remembered that, although this flight is being carried out by Satena from Bogotá to Caracas, the Foreign Minister of Colombia, Álvaro Leyva, and the Minister of Defense of that country, Iván Velásquez Gómez, warned in statements to the media of the neighboring nation the November 8th that the airline does not have aircraft with the capacity to cover the route on a regular basis, with operations several times a week.
“The team that Satena has cannot make direct flights between Bogotá and Caracas, but I think it is a good start and the sky must be opened to all the countries of the world,” Leyva said in a brief statement to the media.
