“We talked about promising projects in agriculture and trade,” said Díaz-Canel. The newspaper Granma He adds that the members of the visiting delegation will evaluate details to start the agricultural project for grain production in December.
Also Neme, from Twitter, referred to the meeting as “excellent dialogue on the cooperation project in commercial and agricultural matters that unites our countries” and added that “Argentina will provide advanced technology for Cuban food development.”
It’s about the second visit to the island of the high official of the Argentine Government since last May, when he was also received by Díaz-Canel, after holding a series of meetings with Cuban authorities in order to advance an agreement to promote growth in food production on the island and the gradual substitution of imports of basic products .

This time, Neme traveled to Cuba accompanied by several businessmen who come to participate in the 38th edition of the Havana International Fair (Fihav), the most important commercial exchange in the country, to be held from November 14 to 18.
Cuba is going through an acute economic crisis reflected in the shortage of basic products and food, for which its Government must import about 80% of the products consumed by the population.
