Families in Action is one of the programs that the Department of Social Prosperity continues to develop and which aims to benefit families with children and adolescents in conditions of poverty and extreme poverty, granting them economic aid.
This time, the entity has announced that from this Thursday, November 10, registration will begin for 115,815 families from Bogotá who want to be part of the program and who meet the conditions.
“We are improving targeting criteria, to optimize resources, mitigate hunger and avoid falling into handouts. The support model will allow households to overcome their condition of vulnerability, and that we advance in equality and social justice in all corners of Colombia”, indicated the director of Social Prosperity, Cielo Rusinque.

How to apply?
Those interested in being part of the program must carry out the process from the date mentioned, going to Carrera 14A # 68-26, near the Flores station and Calle 63 of Transmilenio, from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. There, the entity expects to receive more than 5 thousand potential beneficiaries every day.
It should be noted that in the case of Bogotá, those who are focused must schedule their appointment through a link that will be published on the website of Social Prosperity https://prosperidadsocial.gov.co/ starting this Tuesday, November 8.

what to bring
In case an appointment is assigned, families must attend with the following documents and have at least 30 minutes available to complete the process:
- A legible photocopy of the citizenship card of the person presenting himself as the holder. In case the holder is a minor, he must present the identity card. If the holder does not have the original identity document, the password is accepted.
- Legible photocopy of the identity documents for each Boy, Girl and/or Adolescent under 18 years of age to be registered (civil registry for NNA under 6 years of age and identity card for NNA of 7 to 17 years of age).
- Have information on the educational entities in which the children or adolescents are enrolled, and information on the institution that provides the health service (IPS) that attends to the holder and those who are going to enroll. In no case is it necessary to carry supports or certificates of this information. The person presenting himself as the owner must provide this information at the time of registration.
