Two people allegedly linked to the robbery of a jewelry store located in Obarrio, were arrested by the National Police, through the operation Impacto.
This robbery occurred on October 12 of this year at the Brilat jewelry store, located on Samuel Lewis Avenue, corner of Calle 56, in Obarrio, and since then investigations have been carried out.
That afternoon, five assailants entered the establishment, three of them dressed in Muslim attire and the other two from the Cleanliness Authority, and took his firearm from the security agent who was guarding the entrance to the business premises perpetrating the assault.
The operation that resulted in two captures contemplated 2 raids in conjunction with officials from the Public Ministry, in sectors of Los Quemados and El Futuro in the district of San Miguelito, as well as the village of Pacora.
During the proceedings, cash and evidence possibly related to the investigations were seized. Investigations into this fact continue.
